Clarke Community Schools will be implementing an adjustment for language acquisition for elementary students starting with the 2024-25 school year. With 54-56% of the district being Spanish-speaking, the administration is working to help those students as well as open more opportunities for native English-speaking students. The program will be open to all students through a drawing held from all interested applicants.

With a systems-oriented approach, the new Director of Special Education and Special Services for Clarke Community Schools kicked off her first year in the role after more than 20 years with Green Hills Area Education Agency (AEA). The iJag program that was implemented in the Clarke Community School district just last year has seen some spectacular results. As the new school year prepares to kick off, The Clarke Community School District will be under new leadership. Mr. DeVore, the new Clarke Superintendent, officially took the helm for the district in the first week of July and is already making big progress.
