Clarke County Conservation is moving forward with development of the new Oakwood Pond, an approximately three-acre public fishing pond and natural habitat restoration project located just eight miles north of Osceola. The project will expand outdoor recreation opportunities, improve erosion control, and restore native prairie habitat through partnerships with CCDC and state and federal funding sources.

The first of its kind in Clarke County, the Osceola Mini Pitch initiative will offer the chance to play, connect, and grow in a facility that has the quality of a “mini-stadium,” yet the intimacy and accessibility suited for a growing community.
