The CCDC recently provided a $3,320 discretionary grant to Crossroads Behavioral Health to help obtain CARF accreditation. Efforts like this help the organization fund much needed mental health programs for the community and provide services like substance abuse counseling and support as well as family counseling and more.

Clarke County Hospital EMS crews recently received new, advanced safety equipment in the form of armored chest plates, helmets, and emergency use kits. This came through the cooperative efforts of Clarke County Hospital, OVFD, and donations from a number of organizations across the county. It’s the HOLIDAYS! And what would be a better way to celebrate than to gather on the square this Thursday at 5pm for Osceola Chamber Main Street’s “Light Up Osceola” event! The Osceola courtyard is the initial phase to a big lighting program by OCMS and Thursday, OCMS, Santa (did we say SANTA?!? YES!!!), and the entire community will be on hand to flip the switch on the new courtyard lighting!
