East Lake Education Building Reaches Final County Supervisors’ Approval Stage

Just over the past handful of years, East Lake Park has undergone a facelift like no other recreational camping area in south central Iowa. Scott Kent, Director of Clarke County Conservation will be taking the next exciting development to the Clarke County Supervisors for a vote of support. CCDC Grant Supports New Technology for Murray Students and Teachers

In the July board meeting, the CCDC approved a discretionary grant for Murray Community Schools that helped in the purchase of more than $54,000 of new technology. Through the hard work of Jeanie Bower, Murray’s Technology Integrationist and the grant, Murray students and teachers will start the 2023-24 school year with new Chromebooks and classroom smart boards!

Clarke County Hospital Uses Telligen Community Initiative Funding to Support Health Education for Local High School Students

Clarke County Hospital’s “Grow Your Own” initiative recently received some support and encouragement through a generous donation from The Telligen Group out of Des Moines. In partnership with SWCC, CCH developed the program to offer Health Occupations and Certified Nursing Assistant classes to CCSD students.
