A major step forward has been announced for the proposed mixed-use development at 101 W. Washington Street in downtown Osceola. “The Washington,” a 22 unit new residential complex with ground-floor commercial space, has been awarded more than $700,000 in Iowa Workforce Housing Tax Credits, clearing an important hurdle toward making the project a reality.
