Clarke County has taken an important step toward becoming a designated Opportunity Zone, with Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds and the Iowa Economic Development Authority approving Census Tract 9603 for Iowa’s Opportunity Zone 2.0 nomination.
The designation encompasses essentially all of Clarke County west of I-35 and could provide a new pathway for attracting private investment!
