Warmer spring weather brings with it the chance for families to spend evenings and weekends outside once again! Bicycles, skateboards and scooters will be dusted off and the sidewalks and streets will start to fill up with little ones enjoying the fresh air and longer days. To make this transition to summer break easy and safe for kids and parents, alike, bring the family to Safety Night, April 17, from 4:30-7:00pm!
The Clarke County Prevent Child Abuse Council, with help from many generous sponsors, wants to teach children and families how to stay safe while enjoying outdoor fun. With some amazing activities, Safety Night is an opportunity to teach children how to make safe choices when riding bikes and skateboards. This is also a great opportunity for parents to have their current safety equipment, including car seats and helmets, checked by experts.
