Better Choices, Better Health

Clarke County Hospital (CCH) and Clarke County Public Health (CCPH) are sponsoring a free “Better Choices, Better Health” workshop beginning in May. Leah Reed (CCH) and Heather Buckingham (CCPH) will teach the chronic disease self-management class every Friday for six weeks. Participants will learn about and practice different things they can implement to positively affect their health. They will learn about the importance of physical activity, action planning, understanding emotions, better communication with themselves and those around them, working with their healthcare team, and healthy eating. The class will provide the participants with healthy ways to live by improving their choices. Click here to see the flyer for the event
