nonprofit forum osceola iowa

Each fall the Clarke County Development Corporation puts together and hosts a Nonprofit Community Forum for local groups to network, share their successes and put forth their plans for the upcoming year. At the event, local nonprofits and community organizations are invited to present their greatest success from 2018 and share their top priorities for 2019.

It’s a great event that gives beneficial exposure to local, nonprofit organizations and the valuable work they do. It also provides directors and organizers opportunity to network with one another and build important relationships.

Clarke County is full of amazing people doing amazing things and this is a chance to make sure their story is told. The CCDC provides this forum so others in the community can hear and potentially benefit from the hard work of these volunteers.

Being the 4th year of the Community Forum, participating organizations, as well as those they serve have seen this as an opportunity to build awareness for their programs. Those that volunteer or organize programs like these should take action to make sure they are included.

Don’t Miss This Opportunity to Feature Your Nonprofit Organization!

Clarke County Development Corporation recently reached out to past participants to ensure all organizations have the opportunity to get signed up for this year’s event. With the number of volunteer leaders involved in running nonprofits, contact information changes from year to year. Please contact Liz Simpson with current contact information and to submit the organization’s details to be included in the 2018 annual Community Development Handbook.

If you know of a nonprofit organization that would benefit from this program, please make sure you share this news with them.

The event date is approaching quickly, so make sure your nonprofit or community organization is on board! Contact Liz Simpson at [email protected] or (641)342-2944 before November 1st to ensure inclusion in this year’s Forum!
