2015 has been a great year for Clarke County and Osceola’s community organizations. With the support from local businesses and help from our ever-involved citizens, the non-profit groups and organizations our community depends on most have flourished and provided services beyond expectation. In celebration of their achievements, the Clarke County Development Corporation and others will be on hand Monday, November 2nd, to help recognize these hard-working groups and kick off our 2015 Community Development Forum.
The Community Development Forum is an annual, public event held to introduce and discuss the non-profit groups and organizations throughout Clarke County. These groups depend on local support to help our community grow and flourish. From Osceola Chamber Mainstreet and Clarke Community Schools to 91.9 KSOI Radio and The Clarke Area Arts Council, the support you provide, helps these organizations not only exist, but also enhance the services that directly benefit you, your friends, and family throughout Osceola and Clarke County, Iowa.
The Forum will be a presentation of all of the local non-profit groups that have RSVP’d for the event. Each will have a 3-minute window to present what their organization does and the vision they have for 2016 and beyond. They’ll also have the opportunity to discuss their needs and answer any questions in a reception following the presentations.
The forum will be held at the Lyric Theater from 3:00pm to 6:00pm on Monday, November 2nd 2015.
We encourage all Clarke County residents to attend to learn more about the groups that help build and support our community.
If you are a Non-Profit Organization and would like to be included in the presentation, the RSVP deadline has been extended to Thursday, October 29th. Please contact Bill Trickey or Elizabeth Simpson at The Clarke County Development Corporation – 641-342-2944 or email: [email protected]
