Clarke Community Schools has been celebrating Homecoming this week, with students -and staff – decorating hallways and cars, dressing in costume for theme days, and showing off their school spirit and pride!
There’s still time for the community to show their support and to join in the fun. Activities still to come include:
- “Boom Night” – Join us in the High School gym at 7:30pm Thursday, September 15 to enjoy the creativity and school spirit of your own Clarke High School students as they perform original skits, then stick around for the Spirit Fire to follow on the practice football field!
- Coronation – Throughout the week, Clarke High School students have had the chance to vote for their Homecoming Royal Court. Come enjoy the pomp and circumstance of the Coronation on Friday at 1:30pm in the auditorium as we crown the Homecoming King, Queen, Prince and Princess for 2016.
- Parade – The Homecoming Parade will take place immediately after the Coronation, at 2:30pm on Friday. The community is invited to come see the various clubs and organizations showing off their pride in Clarke Schools!
- Homecoming Football Game – Friday night at 7:30pm Clarke Community School District invites students, parents and all of Osceola to come cheer on your Clarke Indians varsity football team as they take on Chariton in the Homecoming game!
- Homecoming Dance – All Clarke High School students are invited to put on their very best attire and come dance the night away! The Homecoming Dance starts at 8:00pm in the High School gym and ends at 11:00pm. Admission is $4 and there will be some free refreshments available while supplies last.
