Osceola Food, LLC announced today that it sponsored a Clarke High School Graduation recognition poster project.
“We know that seniors around the country are not getting to experience some of the traditions that go with it, like prom and a graduation ceremony,” said John Hoag, Osceola Food Plant Manager. “Our team wanted to do our part to recognize the achievements of the Class of 2020 and sponsoring this project is one way we can bring these graduating seniors the recognition they deserve.”
The idea for the posters was born through the conversations of mothers of students to help spotlight the Clarke High School graduating class. Jaime Smith, Michelle Davis, Michelle Hoag and teacher Paula Reece quickly put a plan in place after it gained some traction through the community.
“We wanted to make sure our Class of 2020 was able to be seen by the community,” said Jaime Smith, from Invinci Graphics, who printed the signs and is mother of a junior at Clarke High School. “We are so glad that we were able to do this for them.”
Osceola Food is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hormel Foods Corporation (NYSE: HRL) and has a long history of supporting the community through hunger-relief efforts and supporting other local charities.
