The CCDC approved a pair of grants recently to help Clarke Community Schools cover costs related to new emergency response backpacks for school administrators and teachers as well as cover costs associated with the district’s water conservation efforts.

With projects on campus as well an exciting new home just off Osceola’s historic square, the students are gaining real-life experience.

The Holidays mean giving and helping those in need. The Clarke Schools Food Pantry has been recipients of overwhelming charity this season. With a systems-oriented approach, the new Director of Special Education and Special Services for Clarke Community Schools kicked off her first year in the role after more than 20 years with Green Hills Area Education Agency (AEA). The iJag program that was implemented in the Clarke Community School district just last year has seen some spectacular results. With the support from local businesses and organizations, the fledgling startup program more than doubled their student enrollment and saw some spectacular results for program participants as well as those supporting businesses!
