Clarke County Freedom Rock Project Update

You still have time to order your memorial plaque for Clarke County’s Freedom Rock!

Murray Development Corporation Board Members

Since the beginning of the Clarke County Freedom Rock project, over 250 plaques have been pre-ordered in recognition of our service men and women. Ensure your loved one is recognized for their service and sacrifice by reserving your engraved plaque by May 1st to receive the special pricing of just $50. The veteran being honored doesn’t have to be from Clarke County. The Honor Wall is meant to recognize all those who have served.

After May 1st, the price will change to $75. By ordering early, your veteran’s plaque can be engraved before being installed, rather than requiring travel and on-site engraving after the Honor Wall is constructed.

Located on the west side of the Murray Cemetery just off highway 34, the Clarke County stop on the Freedom Rock Tour will include the iconic 26-ton granite bolder and mural surrounded by seven flag poles, a raised seating area, and the Honor Wall displaying the engraved plaques commemorating your loved ones.
