The City of Osceola’s new website can be seen at: OsceolaIA.net

The City of Osceola is excited to share the new and improved City website! Incorporating the new Osceola brand mark (logo) being utilized around the city, this new site is designed to be more user-friendly and more informative for visitors, new residents and current residents, alike.

The front page of the new website at osceolaia.net provides residents with the most useful information at a glance! Everything you need to know about the city will be right at your fingertips, including:

  • a calendar of events to keep residents informed of recycling schedules, City Council meetings, and all other city-sponsored activities and fun events
  • news posts and articles about things going on around the city of Osceola, in Clarke Community Schools and throughout Clarke County
  • special notices and urgent announcements from the city

While the new website still incorporates contact information for the Mayor and City Council as well as various Boards throughout the city, there are many new features to help encourage visitors and those just becoming part of the community. The New Residents Welcome page supplies useful contact information to anyone new to Osceola to help them get settled and make joining our community a simpler transition.

It’s also easier than ever to find the necessary forms and permits for whatever new project individuals, contractors or businesses may need to make property improvements. You can follow the schedules and standings of Osceola’s many recreational and competitive sports leagues through the Parks & Recreation Department, as well as rent park facilities and find fun new activities just for kids!

Plus, the Police Department is thrilled to be able to offer a new emergency alert system for the residents of Osceola. Nixle allows you to sign up for emergency text alerts from the Police Department in the case of any kind of emergency situation important to the whole city. Finally, the new site design has been constructed so it is compatible with mobile devices (phones, tablets, etc.). This will make accessing the most current City news and information easier than in the past.

The City of Osceola wants you to feel involved and invested in what goes on in your city. Please take some time to look around the new website and see all the ways you can become an even bigger part of your community!
